Wasatch Waking

With the deadline of the first episode swiftly approaching Shaun and I head out to catch a little sunrise action.  We spent a late night trying to tie up loose ends, work on an intro and fine tune sound.  The morning came awfully fast.  With a few swear words muttered (ok maybe shouted) due to unaccounted gear we were off.

Weston gettin' it

We skinned up the Guardsman road in a full out sprint to catch the morning rays.  We had Nelson with us, who led the way and made us look incredibly slow.  When we got to the top we were greeted with howling winds and the sun just beginning to pop up. Even though the thermometer on the truck read 35 with the wind, it felt more like 15.

Blustery but beautiful

Our Canon 7D performed flawlessly and with the new Manfrotto 501HDV head, we got some stunning shots.

We leave you with a photo from the morning……wish you were here!
